January - DecTek wins Rhondda-Cynon-Taf Business Club Award for ` Best Use of eCommerce`
January - 2000 sq ft of office space is acquired for administration.
April - DecTek is short-listed for the prestigious `Western Mail Welsh Business Awards` in the `eCommerce` category. The winner will be announced at the presentation evening held at the Cardiff International Arena attended by 700 finalists and guests.
May - DecTek is awarded the `Western Mail Welsh Business Award for eCommerce` at the Cardiff International Arena. The event, hosted by political commentator John Sergeant, celebrated the very best in Welsh business across several categories. The Award was received by Mike & Dave Beese and is the second award DecTek has received for it`s eCommerce implementation programme this year.
