April - A fine start for the new financial year - March turnover figure is nearly 32% up on 2009.
March - A great night for DecTek and DecTag at the annual Rhondda-Cynon-Taf Business Club Awards. Mike & Dave Beese received the Innovative Company of the Year award at a gala presentation at the Rhondda Heritage Park Hotel. To cap a great evening, Mike & Dave together with Phil Mendelsohn, stood up to receive the RCT Business of the Year Award on behalf of all the staff at DecTek and DecTag. The award was presented by Nick Hewer of BBC`s `The Apprentice` fame - Alan Sugar`s right hand man.
February - DecTek is nominated as a finalist for the RCT Business Club Awards in the Innovative Company of the Year category.
2009
December - DecTek maintains 15% growth for 2009
August - DecTek is short-listed for the `South Wales Business Awards` - `Technology & Innovation` category.
June - DecTek wins the HOVIP 2009 Award for Innovation. The award relates to DecTek`s advances in the field of RFID development and the subsequent formation of it`s sister company - DecTag.
January - DecTek officially launches it`s latest range of high quality products - Domed Name Badges. The supply operation will include a highly specialised Wholesale and Trade customer service which is touted to become the most sophisticated in the industry.
2008
August - A fourth business trading unit is acquired in preparation for pending contracts. The business address now includes units 29,30,31,+ 33.
July - DecTek Spain announces half yearly turnover increase of 149% for the same trading period.
June - In line with ongoing expansion, DecTek acquires a further business trading unit which will house a new print facility.
April - DecTek UK announces 37% of growth increase for 2007.
January - New Laser Registration Technology is installed for the doming application.
2007
October - MD Mike Beese oversees the production of the first resin domed badges to be produced by DecTek Spain in the new manufacturing facility in Malaga.
August - DecTek Spain moves it`s operations to incorporate a manufacturing facility. The move is in line with DecTek`s European expansion plans which will concentrate on both sales & manufacturing throughout Europe.
June - New administration block is opened in Wales including reception area and conferencing facilities. The new offices have been fitted with state-of-the-art IT and Telecommunications equipment.
May - DecTek is awarded the `Western Mail Welsh Business Award for eCommerce` at the Cardiff International Arena. The event, hosted by political commentator John Sergeant, celebrated the very best in Welsh business across several categories. The Award was received by Mike & Dave Beese and is the second award DecTek has received for it`s eCommerce implementation programme this year.
May - MD Mike Beese appears on Welsh current affairs programme `Dragon`s Eye`.
Apr - DecTek is short-listed for the prestigious `Western Mail Welsh Business Awards` in the `eCommerce` category. The winner will be announced at the presentation evening held at the Cardiff International Arena attended by 800 winners and guests.
March - DecTek announces that as a result of it`s successful Spanish sales operation, a production facility will be installed in Malaga. Production is due to begin in July 2007.
Jan - DecTek wins Rhondda-Cynon-Taf Business Club Award for ` Best Use of eCommerce`.
Jan - 2000 sq ft of extra office space is acquired for administration.
2006
Oct - DecTek exhibits at EuroTrophex, Maastricht, Holland.
Sep - DecTek is featured on `Wales Today`, a national news program.
Sep - DecTek is featured on the `Politics Show`.
Sep - Dave Beese to speak at `Innovation-Wales`, Cardiff with regards to `The Power of eCommerce`.
Mar - DecTek Spain opens in Malaga, Southern Spain.
Jan - DecTek exhibits at `Trophex` NEC, Birmingham.
