Resin Application
Our trade doming service includes the application of resin onto free-issue supplied substrates, once we have confirmed there are no compatability issues with the print surface or materials used.
Resin is applied using the very latest state-of-the-art multi-headed CNC controlled application equipment which ensures pin-point consistency as well providing a means of meeting the most demanding of deadlines. Pitch registration is governed by a combination of highly accurate incrementation and highly advanced colour recognition sensors.
The tough characteristics of the resin make it an ideal product for both interior and exterior use. It protects the print area from possible agitations due to aggressive sunlight, friction, cleaning agents and so on. Such agitations as:
- Shatter Proof
- Scratch Proof
- UV Stable
- Strong Adhesion
- Water Resistant
- Non-Yellowing
The use of resin in the manufacture of resin badges and decals has made the product one of the most durable, economical and efficient methods of product branding in the market place.
Digital Print Technology
The advent of digital `Print & Cut` technology has meant that costs for low print runs and different shapes/sizes are kept to a minimum without the need for print screens, dies, tooling or cutters. The new print technology has revolutionised the 3D Resin Domed Badge, label and Decal manufacturing process.
DecTek uses a combination of the latest digital print processes which include:
- Wide Format Inkjet
- Thermal Transfer
- Dye Sublimation
With these methods, a multitude of print effects can be achieved ranging from spot colour, metallics through to 1440 x 1440 dpi full colour print. Production capability ranges from 100 to the millions without the need to penalise customers for low quantities or customised sizes and shapes.
